Coral Gables Creative Camps
Miami Childrens Theater is so excited to hold our Creative Camps in Coral Gables at the historic First United Methodist Church in Coral Gables. Built in 1926, this beauty of a building is centrally located (Segovia and Coral Way ) with the actual camp activities taking place in Founder’s Hall, a cavernous meeting room that gives our campers plenty of room to social distance. Our Creative Campers also have access to the beautiful courtyard outside – we couldn’t dream of a better place to hold our camp.
Session A: June 14th through July 9th
Session B: July 12th through August 6
The camp is for students ages 6 through 12 and runs Monday through Friday 9 am to 4pm with early drop off at 8 and and late pickup at 5 pm. We also have a 1/2 day option: from 9 am to 12 noon!

What is Creative Camps?
This is Miami Childrens Theater’s 25th year of Creative Camps! Though the camp is very much a musical theater camp we titled it Creative Camps because your child will be able to exhibit their creativity through visual art, improv, acting, singing and dancing. Our format for Creative Camps has been the same for 25 years – the campers work four weeks on a show and then perform it on stage for family and friends at the end of the session. Please note: the final performance by the Coral Gables campers will shift to the Alper JCC theater in Kendall as they are better equipped to stage a show in this pandemic era. Miami Childrens Theater will take every precaution needed to ensure your child is safe during this COVID period. The room will be conducting our main camp activities in is massive and we also have an outdoor courtyard.
