Mainstage Junior is Miami Childrens Theater’s most popular class – designed to get students ages 5 through 12 that have little or no experience with theater a fun and educational initiation. The class meets twice a week from 4:30 to 6 pm for approximately 11 weeks and then our Mainstage Junior cast presents a big show for family and friends to see. This Fall we will be performing Frozen Kids! Families have a choice of either meeting Mondays and Wednesdays or Tuesdays and Thursdays. All classes take place at our beautiful new home at Dance Empire, located at 8853 SW 132nd Street (next to the Falls).
MCT Dance Intensives! All This Month
Dance Your Summer Away!
MCT has three great dance intensives for you this summer. The ages for the Dance Instensives are as follows:
Session #1 (Newsies): ages 9 -16
Session #2 (Moulin Rogue): ages 12 through 18
Session #3 (Legally Blonde): ages 12 through 18
These Intensives will be taught by MCT choreographer Sabrina Leon. Each intensives runs Monday through Thursday, starting July 15th and go from 2to 4 pm. These Dance Intensives will be held at our new home at Dance Empire located at 8853 SW 132nd Street – right by the Falls. Each week will cover the choreography of some of your favorite musicals. They are:
Dance Intensive #1 (July 15 through July 18th): Choreography inspired by the hit Broadway show Newsies
Dance Intensive #2 (July 22 through July 25 : Choreography inspired by Moulin Rogue
Dance Intensive #3 (July 29 through August 1st): Choreography inspired by Legally Blonde
The weekly fee is just $50
