Miami Childrens Theater is extremely proud to announce auditions for West Side Story. West Side Story will be our company’s feature production celebrating our 30th anniversary. Because of the unusual nature of Lion King Jr. and West Side Story overlapping three weeks. let us rest assure anyone in Lion King can definitely do West Side Story. We will offer modified rehearsal times until Lion King is over. This is something MCT did all the time back in the day. Here are some dates to help you make your auditioning decision: Though the callbacks are February 22nd, the first rehearsal will not be until March 3rd.  West Side Story, directed by Damaris Lopez-Canales, will rehearse on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. The show will be at The Alper JCC on either the weekend of May 29-31  or June 5th through 7th. We will get that information to you as soon as possible. This will be one of MCT’s biggest productions ever – a celebration of three decades of incredible young persons’ theater. More details to follow!
