MY LITTLE STAR
My Little Star is Miami Childrens Theater’s super fun “introduction ” to theater class for 4 to 6 year olds! MCT introduced this class last semester, and it was so sweet how the classmates became friends. My Little Star meets on Saturday mornings from 9 am to 10:30 at our resident rehearsal home Dance Empire. (across from the Falls). The class learns song and dance numbers from popular musicals for approximately 10 weeks, and then they will perform it for friends and family on April 26th.
The first class is March 15th.
AGES 6 – 12
MAINSTAGE JR
Mainstage Junior is Miami Childrens Theater’s most popular class – now in it’s 10th year! Mainstage Junior is a class and a show all rolled into one!
Mainstage Junior is for students ages 6 through 12 who have little or no experience in musical theater. The beauty of Mainstage Stage is that every one who signs up for the class gets a role! The emphasis at Mainstage Junior is learning and having fun. Mainstage Junior is an afterschool program that runs 4:30 PM to 6, two days a week, and is held at our beautiful rehearsal facility at Dance Empire. Families have a choice of Monday / Wednesday classes or Tuesday/Thursday classes. These classes run approximately 12 weeks and the kids work hard to put on a big final production for families and friends. A show complete with sets, costumes, lights and sound.
